Zoe
She/Her
Zoe started learning Lindy Hop in Corvallis, Oregon while she was a freshman in college. Social dance quickly became an obsession, and Corvallis was the perfect place to dance four to five nights a week with excellent instructors and tight-knit communities across dance genres.
Lindy Hop is her first and true dance love– the playfulness, creativity, heritage, styling, and music of Lindy feed her soul. Zoe has been a part of performances locally in Olympia, and has danced in Victoria, Vancouver, Wellington, Toulouse, Barcelona, Washington DC, Baltimore, St. Louis, Austin, San Antonio, Minneapolis, Columbus, Fresno, San Francisco, Eugene, and more local spots like Portland, Tacoma, Seattle, Bellingham, and Port Townsend over the years.
From 2018-2020 Zoe helped run the Swing Dance Cooperative in Olympia, and then co-founded and ran South Sound Stomp from 2022-2025. She started teaching dance and learning to lead near the end of her time in Corvallis and has enjoyed teaching, organizing, and spreading the joy of swing dance in Olympia.
